I'm sorry but no one will ever convince me that picture is real unless I saw the car in real life. I got my friend to show the picture to his digital graphics professor, and even he thinks it's fake. The paint job just doesn't flow right with the car.

That's a great paint job!<hr></blockquote>
Not true dude. I'm not a Photoshop expert myself, but I've physically seen people who are mess around with cars, and I've seen them fake badass paint jobs that look 100x more realistic then that one does. I saw one do a black Camaro in the most realistic flames you've ever seen that flowed perfectly with the car.Kyle M<br />--------------<br /><a href=\"http://grdws6.netfirms.com\" target=\"_blank\">2002 Trans Am WS6</a> (silver, A4) - lid, cutout, stage 3 shift kit, 12 bolt, vig 3200, tranny cooler, bmr sfc/stb, torq thrust ii. <b>12.688 @ 106.47mph -=- 1.756 60\'</b>

In my opinion it's real. Look at the side of the ram air hood on our left, see the reflection, that makes it look real to me. The one part that caught me off gaurd is to the right of the fog, but now that I look at it it's a reflection of the camera man. If thats fake then it's a damn good fake.
As for the camaro: I don't like some of the parts from the front view, just to much goin on. From the side I love the basic idea of it. I actually sketched a couple designs somewhat like that. I'm getting a paint gun soon and am gonna start practicing painting. Hopefully soon I'll paint some flames, a design somewhat like that or a bowtie going onto the fender (might be somewhat rice but I don't care)1998 Red RS 3.8l A4<br /> Whisper - K&N - N20 - 1LE Panhard - Ghetto STB - 255/50ZR16 Ecsta<br /> Removed grille - Limo tint - blackouts - A-pillar cf a/f ratio<br /> Panasonic DF88 - 1 12\" Eclipse 88120.4 - Eclipse 3322 amp<p><a href=\"http://members.cardomain.com/raven_rs\" target=\"_blank\">http://members.cardomain.com/raven_rs</a>

IMO is real. For me, that is not just a paint job, it is a piece of art. I am not an expert in Photography, but there are a few things that tell me it is real. For example the RA hood nose, you can see the perforations. Also check the fog lights, you can see the the difference in white shades do to the angles.
If I were the artist who painted that car, I’ll feel very flattered by your “fake” critic or disbelieve opinion. That is exactly the beauty of his job, it looks so real that people think is fake. He used a simple pattern (Checkers or color squares) but is the shadow effects what make this a real piece of art.
I just wonder………. How mu$h a job like this cost?
The other car is just Butt ugly, wakala

Thats ok, I AM. I've been Adobe certified in every version of PS since 3. Read it again ADOBE CERTIFIED. Let's move on...

So in other words, you've seen more realistic FAKE flame paint jobs than you've seen real flame paint jobs?
Wow.
Thats' a new one. Kinda like how diet Dr. Pepper tastes more like regular Dr. Pepper than regular Dr. Pepper itself?
Sorry, I'm still confused. This REAL paint job looks less real than a FAKE paint job done by photoshop?
Hmmm...

OH! Here it is! I found the chapter... "Making Your Art Look More Like Real Life Than Real Life Itself"
Holy cow! How could I have missed that one?

I apologize. I get very irritated when someone is critical of someone elses hard work.
That paint job/decal/whatever it is took many many hours of intensive detail-oriented labor. It is insulting to anyone whe has ever worked hard on a piece of art only to have it dismissed as a fluke or a fake.

Dude, when didn't say it looked like $hit, we just said we didn't think it was real. If it's real, then i'm sure that everyone that see's it in person is giving compliments about it. I don't think he really gives a rats-*** what we think.1999 Chevrolet Camaro Z28<br />1987 Buick Grand National
