Oh my goodness, that's awful! I hope you catch the people who did it, make them pay hardcore for their sins! Hopefully the car cover would deter people from ever doing that again, at least that would protect it if anything. I have a friend that lives in the busier part of our development that gets his car messed with all the time, people can be so stupid.
On a side note, I have heard of car alarms that have like a paging system that will alert you somehow if your alarm has been tripped. Maybe get a proximity alarm or something too, for things to be on the safe side. I hope it can be fixed easily.

I'm sorry to hear that! Damn! Jealous people that have to destroy OUR SH*T because they can't afford anything nice, and sit their lazt UNEMPLOYED A$$ES around all day with nothing better to do than to just destroy propery!
Time to vent!! Hunt them down, and have no mercy on their welfare, jealous, immature, lazy rears!

I'd do what Dominic suggested, and get a quality car cover for it. Then, sit outside and await their return

its unfortunate that people cant respect other people's things.

I'm really sorry that happened to ya. I hope your insurance will cover it. Have you ever considered a security camera of some sort?

  I know exactly how you feel!!!! My car has been egged TWICE!! No damage the first time, damage the 2nd...paint chipped. God I wish I could catch them.

Michelle, with a car like yours, I wouldn't even think of paying for a paintjob like yours without having a garage to put my car it.

Parking your car outside blows, whether it be street or driveway...just the fact that it is outside means those little menaces to society can do whatever they want

I'm sorry to hear about that. I'm worried about when I get the Z done, that something like this will happen to it. I just better not see it happen, may god be with the bastard if I do catch them. I hope your insurance covers it, which I'm sure they will. I hope everything goes well getting it fixed. I still can't believe that happened to your car, people these days have no respect for anything, most people don't even respect their own stuff so I can understand why they don't respect others.

Someone likes you! It's like 8th grade all over again.

Couldn't you just buff that out with some mcguires? My girlfriend just sraped her civic against some formica cubboards and it left the same marks along with paint chipping and all of the white marks (scratched clear coat) buffed right out. Elbow grease will take that right out.

Thanks for all the nice replies. I never had anyone do anything intentionally to my car before..even the 94 that had the flames but living down here is really too "urbanized". The amount of traffic that now goes through this development is unreal because just recently they opened the one end up to another road. I'd say 80% of the traffic is people cutting through rather then people that live here. My house in PA had a 300ft long driveway so it was very far away from the road. Here the driveway is only 15ft long :( .

I tried to rubbing compound to get the damage out but it's in the clear coat..cracked right through :( . I will contact the insurance company today. I hope they dont give me a load of crap like before when the shopping car hit my car...at least the egg was airborne!!! Some of ya might remember that

I took it to the painter today. He gave a shot of wetsanding/rubbing compound and was able to get the damage to disappear!!! Yaayy! He was surprised himself he said that it worked. He said usually egg's stick in the clear coat and scratch all the way to the base. He thinks due to the recent flame job/clear coat it saved it from going in further.

Had the same thing happen to my car also!

right on the passenger side front clip!

My car is NBM so its WAY more noticible! I'll have to contact a body shop also to see if it can be fixed!

These people! They can never appreciate a nice looking car!
