I'm off on Saturday, was thinking about possibly going to get my tint done (finally) and was wondering what a reasonible price would be. Living in NC I think that the restrictions on how dark you can go are pretty strict, but I'm not looking for limo tint or anything. Just basically to darken it up a bit. Curious about what everyone else paid, I was quoted about 150 minimum at the place closest to my apartment... that sound like a good deal?

Front 4" down, sides, rear, I would say no more $150. Wouldn't pay no more than that. We do it for $125 but in a small town97 Red Firebird
Best N/A 1/4: 13.98
Best N/A MPH: 96.13
Best Nitrous 1/4: 12.49
Best Nitrous MPH: 108.53
2001 Pewter Camaro SS
GTP Stage II Heads, Pig Cam, Holley Intake, SLP Headers, SLP Lid, Vigalante 3600 Stall Converter, MagnaFlow Cat Back Exhaust, Duel Electric Cut-Outs
11.26@121

I gave 110 for mine but a close freind did it at his professional shop. The rear glass is all one peice too. It is not how dark but how much UV the tint will block. After it is sunscreen for your interior. And the AC works far better.>>OH 1 FIREBIRD SunsetOrangeMetalic
Not at All Stock

Just be glad your not in alaska! I called around a few months ago, and the lowest i found was $270, but i was gonna get 5% all around (illegal as hell, the state limit is something like 50 i think) and it was gonna cost $350ish! So let's just say my windows aren't tinted right now! :mad:1999 Chevrolet Camaro Z28
1987 Buick Grand National

my tint was $130, lifetime warranty, same price whatever light transmittance you get. ONe piece rear. I did have bubbles around the solar-ray stock tint that is on the top of the rear windshield but I took alot of time with a credit card after it was installed to get rid of alot of them. The little bubble is pricked with a sewing needle and pushed the air out with the card. I've got 25% sides with stock tint and 15% rear. I had a problem one time with my passenger window getting a little tear. I got it replaces (darker) and the other side redone darker too for $25!

I think mine was like $200 for 30% front, 20%-one piece in the back. I had Alta Mere do it. They have a lifetime warranty against EVERYTHING, peeling, cracking, fading, bubbling, etc. They did a pretty decent job too. Whatever you get, make SURE they have warranties against fading and stuff, 'cuz sometimes the cheaper stuff has dye in it, which fades in a few years to that weird purple color you see around.1992 Arctic White Firebird
3.1L V6, TB Coolant Bypass, CAI, Turbo Muffler, other little things.

http://www.geocities.com/colinobu/MyHomepage.html

\". . .Finger in the air and the flag still wavin\'. . .\"
