APC amber LED parking lights..bright as DRLs or not???w/in

Hey guys...i found some 2057 style lights for f-body's from APC. They are made up of 12 LEDs and say they are super bright and are suppose to last forever for about 20 bucks a piece. They say they are dual filament though so I still dont' know if the low element part is as bright as DRL's. As you know the factory DRLs illumate the high element part of the bulb. Now if the low element of the LEDS were as bright as the high element of the stock bulbs that would be great. Has anyone put or seen these lights on that could comment. Heres a link for them too

I saw those at Pep boys on 224. I dont think those thing would be as bright. Theyd probably last longer and use less juice though. Ive seen them used but never on an F-body and ive never seen them side by side. I would say no they arent as bright though.

guess i'll just have to do the DRL mod sometime after it stops snowing 12 goddamn inches in the spring time..lol

LED lights are a LOT brighter than bulb lights!!! where im from, oil field trucks are starting to put LED brake lights and they are SUPER bright compared to the normal bulb light

The LEDs aren't necessarily brighter. The actual light is brighter but they don't project any light so they probably wouldn't look very good. There's only light where the LED light actually is, so I THINK that your parking light would just have a little bright circle in it. i don't think the entire light area would be lit up. I kinda know cuz I accidently bought a LED 194 bulb. Supposed to be so bright, but it really wasn't.
