I just finished painting the interior trim. I have a silver 97, so i did the trim silver as well. I painted the trim around the air vents, stereo, and also my shift nob. I also replaced the camaro emblem(located under center air vents)with an old school late 60's eblem. The emblem is chrome with a black background. I am so stoked about how everything turned out, i hope to have pics of it up soon.

oops, didn't notice that sandman. Nice car and that interior looks great. Those door panels are a real nice touch. I thought you were supposed to use some special kind of paint or something.
Sean How did you mask off your actual vents themselves? any particular tips that would help? My interior is exactly the same as yours from what I can tell.

Hey Raven
ok here we go, i just pulled off my trim pieces and popped out the directional air vents. I got some super fine sand paper and brushed the plastic with it. Put on some primer, then the silver, and then clear coat. It really was pretty simple, hardest part was taking out the cover over the gauge cluster. WHAT A *****!!!!!! Got easier with practice though.
Oh also before you paint anything i would make sure that all proctectant stuff is cleaned off. Armor all and such, along with oils from skin don't let the paints and clear coat play well together.
Good luck hope you had as much fun as i did.
