Have you seen SLP's Ram Air H.O. hood? It's not the Firehawk hood, but I think it looks awesome. Here's a link: Ram Air H.O. Hood

Well you could either find a wrecked hawk (With the hood not being wrecked of course :D )like Jason Morgan mentioned or you could have a friend (If you have one with a hawk) and have him use his vin number to order you a hood directly from SLP. Its very unlikely that you'll find some hawk owner willing to do that since they are pretty stuck up about people "copying" their high and might hawk. It also would cost a lot since I think their hood goes for over $1500.

If you did happen to get your hands on a hawk hood you''ll have to worry about trimming your front end (Personally I'd hate for myself or anyone else to hack part of my front end) in order to get the hawk hood to fit just right.

I think you should go for an aftermarket hood. There are many styles to chose from, personally I dont like many of them. One that I do happen to like a lot is SLP's Ram Air H.O. hood (Another being the WS6 hood of course). Its more agrressive than the hawk hood and doesnt have the part of the WS6 hood that many people dont like.

LadyFirebird (The moderator of this section) has that hood on her car and it looks awsome. Her car is one of the best looking cars I have ever seen.

Check out www.mechamperformance.com for the Firehawk hood with slots/grooves near the windshield on the raised part.

            Edit - here's a pic

Well the hood itself only costs $675 from SLP's website. Not bad at all considering the other hoods out there are over $1000 and not functional. Anyway, I also paid $700 to get my hood painted but there is a catch. I opted to have the whole front of my car blended for the new hood so that's why the paint job was more money. If I chose to just get the hood painted it would of only been about $300. I had a bunch of nicks and scratches I wanted gone so my car basically got blended from the doors forward. I hope I helped out some.

But the SLP HO ram Air hood is no the same as the firehawk hood. Though slp hoods are priced well.
