What color for calipers

I am going to paint my calipers on ym car and was wondering what color you guys would suggest. My car is red. I was thinking either the same kind of red or a black to match the tint and the rear blackouts. Any opinions?

Anyhow, I'd think red would look best. Its difficult to color match the calipers... Black would simply hide them - if thats the look youre going for then go ahead!

I am also in that color choosing mode for caliper paint. I have a silver 97, and i would like to paint them silver also, but i think they would get too dirty too quick and would look like *** . So i am probably going to paint them black. I painted my drums black and it looks nice. Silver and black seem to play well together. :D

Ive got a 98 firebird and its red and I have all 4 of my calipers painted red. Only bad thing is they get dirty quick, but i heard they make a high temp clear coat.

98bird, they do make high temp clear coat. Thats what I used on my calipers. There is a pic in my sig.

Hey, i just finished painting my calipers. I have a silver camaro, and am thinking about having a silver/red theme...soooooooo i painted them holy **** red. Looks great! :D
