I am still not able to find a clean headlight replacement for my '96 Maro. Still no updates I assume? Cant believe they dont make silverstars or something in my year model.

you can buy sylvania silverstars part number 9006 for normal headlights, 9005 for brights,

for 93-97 camaros you take out your headlamp assebly, bust out the old light bulb, and high temp silicone the sylvania in, it fights perfect. takes a couple of hours. worth the money for the looks, but not much for increased lighting.. just white/blue instead of yellow...

A few people have suggested, including Yaba that the 9006 silverstar bulbs won't be much brighter than my stock headlights. I have 9007 sylvania Extra Vision bulbs on my 97 ford escort (winter car) and they light up the road twice as good as the stock bubls on my 94 Camaro. I just find it hard to believe that I'm going to pay $50 Canadian for 2 9006 silverstar bulbs and not see an improvement in lighting. That's all I'm really after, don't even care much about the appearance of whiter lights. Any comments?

I guess this isn't such a hot topic. Can anyone offer any advice on convering to the 9006 bulbs? Is it really going to make a difference in terms of brightness on my 94 Camaro. Thanks!
