What tips to go with???

I was wondering. What do most of you go with when it comes to exhaust tips on your camaro? I have 4" chrome tips on right now. Surprising they look nice. I've had a lot of complements on them. A little over a year ago I broke my foot playing basketball and was unable to keep them polished, so during last winter the tips formed, little rust places here and there on them. Nothing that you can see from a distance but if you get up close to the car and look at the drivers side exhaust tip, then you can see some of the rust spots starting to so. Know matter how much I keep them polished it is getting worse. So, the real question is. I'm going today to have new tips placed on my car. I'm getting quads placed on it. Should I get chrome again or go with stainless steel tips. The only problem with stainless steel is they cost like double of what the chrome ones do. Your comments would be great. Thanks.

I would guess if you get chrome again you will see the same results. You can take care of chrome plate but over time, and under those conditions, they will rust. I would guess that the stainless tips they will virtually last forever.

If you've got the cash to shell out go with a nice Corsa exhaust, has the nicest tips I've ever seen (dual/dual).
If you are already happy with your current setup just get chrome and keep it clean! [img]tongue.gif[/img]

I like Borla Quad tips the best.
