opinions please

so i just got some birthday cash, and im trying to figure out what to do with it. performance wise i dont see much, as im not going to get nitrous.

i was thinking about cosmetic things i could do, as my car is mostly stock appearance wise.


so i was thinking about an ss hood with a manta stripe. this pic is the closest i could find. its not SOM, but its pretty close. the cost of the hood+paint would probably take most of the money though. how much would it cost to have someone paint it?



then there is always racing seats and interior stuff, but i wasnt sure how easy that would be.

any suggestions/comments?

both of those cars are SOM.....anyways i would get halos and clear corners.

nah, the second one has been repainted to be slightly lighter than SOM. i can really see the difference in where the sun hits it.

honestly with the gfx i dont like the ss hood, i say go chrome halos, clear corners some really nice rims, and get all your small stuff right!!!small stuff adds up but helps out alot!!!

im picking up some smoked tail light covers, and i was going to try to black out my corners and 3rd brake light, so i was thinking about a black zr1 or something, should i try to stay chrome?

i wouldnt black out a SOM car though. just get some clear corners and side markers, leave the tailights alone.. i second the c6 wheels. DONT get that hood, it would ruin the car. halos if you want em.

im not doing the hood. right now im just trying to figure out if i want to go chrome or black. ill get clear corners, i can niteshade em if i want i guess. im picking up some used CF tail light covers that just look smoked, see how those look.

if you go black, get the z06 with the chrome lip, not the c6 rims.

id go with chrome z06 wheels..

and id pull that black plastic grill out
and leave it bare in there.. or get a billet grill
