What are the absolute brightest bulbs I can put in my '98 fog lamps? I'm not talking about those blue tinted ones, but just straight bright white light.
Does anyone have different bulbs in theirs that could recommend something or know where to get them?
Thanks
EDIT: Bulb numbers would be appreciated too, I think the stockers are 894.

Actually the 896 and 898s are less wattage then the 894s. I checked out Pep Boys (west coast Autozone) and the 896/898 bulbs were 35w while the 894s were 37.5w.
I found an 886 bulb that is 50w and fits, but it doesn't seem to me 12.5w will show much of a difference over the stock 894 at 37.5w.
EDIT: 50w was also the most wattage I could find, is there anything brighter?

nope, 50W would be your brightest choice. 12.5W of additional Halogen light is like going from a 40W Incandescant to a 100W ... Its more than you think!
