ok, I've seen several links and posts on "how to do it"...but everyone I see says to cut a wire or solder a wire...and of course doing this has side effects...like for the manual tranny, if you cut the wire, it will disable your electric hatch...or automatic tranny it will cause your brake light to be on in your console...well my question IS...How can I disable the auto headlights, leaving my marker lights ON, and without soldering or side effects...because having halo lights hooked up on the fog light switch makes it to where the halo is practically invisible, so I want the headlights to turn on ONLY when I turn them on. well i dont know if this will be a long term fix, but when i park in a dark parking lot with my girl and i want the car to be still running, but want privacy i put the parking brake up and turn on the car, then you can control your lights. if you wana drive with just your fog lights or something like that you could pull up on the parking brake slightly utill the light turns on, but not engaged. then turn on your car. it always works for me. ohh and by the way i have a 1998 camaro so it should work for the 98-02 camaros. right?

There is a photo-cell located in the de-frost vent in the top of the dash. You remove the "A" pillars then just pop up the hard plastic dash piece.
NOTE: This piece is very brittle and will crack.
There is a plug conected to the photo-cell, you just unplug it and insert a (10)ohm resistor in the plug and tape it up. This fools the module into thinking it's daytime.
I have heard of people just using a paper-clip but I used the resistorhttp://members.cardomain.com/gmrulz2000
My 2000 V6 5 spd.K&N,Air silencer mod,TSP Rumbler, Magnaflow cat, 160stat.,H.P.P.III.
