  • My Tips... different good or different bad?

I was about to go with ovals, but then, I decided I didn't really want to look like 500 other Firebirds... though it's probably been done, I've never seen these on the Firebird. I thought they looked pretty good... what do you think?

    Click...

I've seen them on Camaros and C4s, and I thought they looked good on those, so why not give it a try? The car is pretty dirty, but I just needed some quick pics for a project. Also, the picture is on the bad side, where you can see my retarded encounter with a pole at the back of the passenger door.

BTW, if anyone knows somewhere better than Imageshack to hose images, please let me know.

To be honest, I really don't like them. I think dual square ones would have looked better, or dual ovals. But as long as you like them, thats all that matters.

i think they would look 10x better with the right ground effects in the rear.

That's about my best pic at the moment. Right now, there is no more wax left on it and it hasn't been polished in 4 or 5 months, so I'm waiting to have time to do all of that before I start taking more pics.

Mixed responses... pretty much what I would expect... I was actually hesitant about it, but my desire to be less like everyone else took over. I'm personally not disappointed. However, my sister's boyfriend said he saw another blue Firebird with the same tips, too. It doesn't entirely break my heart, I never expected to be the ONLY Firebird with them, but I didn't really expect another in this area, considering the number that have aftermarket exhaust.

I think my car would look ten times better with almost any ground effects kit period... I really haven't found anything acceptable except the W68 gfx, though. I'd kind of like something that would let me run them more towards the center. I think that would look cool.

are those the stainless steel z28 tips? if so, thats what im getting when i put the exhaust on.

constructive criticizm: I dont know if its because of the angle of the picture or not, but they seem to be hanging pretty low. If they were to be pulled in some and closer to the bumber it would be pretty sweet

I like them, but i think they would look better if they were tucked up more. It seems like they come down pretty low and i think it would look more natural if they were tucked into the slots that are there.
