ya it's the only thing I dont like about the truck, at first it looked ok but now it looks out of place, Ive been meaning to take it off and get it colormatched then just leave the screw heads their original brushed finish to give a little bit of a sleek look, but nobody seems to wanna try because it's polished aluminum...

Couldn't you take some rough sandpaper and scratch it up a bit and paint it? Why wouldn't that work?

bodychops are tellin me that yes that's one of the steps but theres also some adhesion promoter that is hard to come by, because mostly colored aluminum is powdercoated.

which car? the camaro is legal in florida it looks darker in the pictures but is very light, the tahoe is pretty dark, illegal for florida but you can still kinda see in during the day. 15% I think?
