ok, wondering about removing my stock grill, and priming/painting it metallic black, and filling the "camaro" in with pewter letters to match the body color...and then clearcoating it in gloss...how would that look?
also, my tail lights have red circles inside them...(see pics) and I was wondering if it is possible to remove the taillight plate, and then nightshade those red things black, then put the cover back on, how would that look?? lemme know.

i wouldnt need red bulbs...the plastic is red. but to get to the red lenses to smoke them is the problem...I dunno how I would do it...
I would like to at least see what the grille would look like...I mean, metallic black with silver fillins would be pretty cool i guess but I don't know.

I painted my grill when I had my GFX painted figuring I could paint it back if I didn't like it. Turned out so great looking with chrome lettering that I've never changed it back.

hey kevx, nice car man. I like the way yer grill is painted red like your car, looks great. How would that look on a pewter camaro if I painted my grill pewter??? I'm still looking for somthing to do to my grill...but i don't want a billet grill, just want to paint mine. Kevx, off subject but did you ever have a condensation problem with your halo lights? I think I might have fixed my problem but j/w..

Here's a link to a silver car with a painted grill, which gives you a good idea what a pewter would look like. I think it looks hot.
On the Halos, I guess I was lucky, no condensation yet. I live in Florida, so maybe that makes a difference since they never see real cold.

yes, they are actually just sim carbon fiber decals you put over the sail panel...but it beats having a blank sail panel I think...the firebirds have the bird and the camaro should have somthing maybe.
