  • New Driving Lights....No More Amber/Orange!

I got a set of driving lights for Valentine's day from my girl, and they actually fit where our driving lights are on 98-02 firebirds. They're 4 inches in diameter, and aren't orange, which is a good thing when orange isn't in ur future color scheme. check them out here: http://www.toucanindustries.com/inde...ng&pos=0,15,18

sry bout the long address. The ones I have are like those, except with a blue ring instead of red. Just thought I'd let u guys in on the find. I'll post pics when I put them on.

So these are meant to replace the turn/DRL's. Will they still function correcty as a turn signal? I hope they turn out good for you, I have been looking for alternatives myself.

You can just change the bulb with a white one if you dont like orange... looks better and only cost 2 bucks

they are meant as driving lights as well as turn signals. They come w/ connectors to be wired into the factory wiring. If the car is still able to send a signal to the lights to stay on and flash when directed to, then they should do it. The kit comes w/ a separate switch for the blue ring, in case u don't want them on all the time.

sure, u could swap out for a different bulb that it clear, but I've seen them, and they look a little better, but not as good and I'd hoped, also not as bright and I'd like.

Yeah I have thought of that too, Since my drls are melting the lamps. If you are going to put that where the drls are, I don't think is going to fit. I belive they are 3.5 inches. Here is what i have on my car currently.

so, the radius is .25 inches bigger with 4" rather than 3.5". do u notice that silver lip on the lights, that part will be hidden, leaving the ring and light itself exposed. I'll try to take a pic and put it up on my car-domain site of the lights and stuff that came w/ them.
