  • hood pins or not

    Hey i need some opinions...
Im planning on buying a hood from thunderracing.com. And the pin ons are like a hundred bucks cheaper than the bolt ons. With that hundred dollars saved i know a guy who will paint it for me. I just wanted some opinions on if pin ons are any good, if you have one on your car and have had bad/good experiences etc....

    Thanks!

i recall one post( and im new ) when the person forgot to pin them or whatever, and the hood came up and shattered the windshield. all depends, if your forgetfull i wouldnt do it.

here, 2 minutes of searching i founf it. theres also a pic of a camaro ( 93-97 ) with hood pins.

the ones on the camaro dont look that bad, i kinda like them on that car.might just be the hood and black out clear corners that make it look good.

well I have been thinking of the same idea, but will wait to see someone else do it to see how I like it, I know that in the RKsport magazine they have a camaro with them on and it looks pretty sweet

Well you asked. So here's my 2 cents. No hood pins. I have yet to see a 4th gen Camaro that really looks good with hood pins.
