  • Fixing leather scuffs - should be easy, yes?

I'm investing in a leather seat set since I've always wanted leather seats and I'm going to bite the bullet. I've found a nice set of leather camaro seats I'm going to throw in my bird and it's a pretty good deal - 325 dollars for pretty nice condition. The only problem is on the right passengers side of the seat is a small scuff that I was hoping if I were to purchase could be easily taken care of. Any suggestions? Here's a link to what I plan to bid on given someone answers saying that the scuff is easily removable.

It looks to me like that scuff scraped away some of the leather. I'd be worried about a future rip or tear in those spots seeing as how they come into contact with people as they get in and out of the car and also as they are sitting. The only way I could see it being "fixed" is to have that part dyed to attempt to match the color of the outer skin. However this would not be a permanent fix and the spot may still be noticable and susceptible to tearing.

Pictures really don't tell much of anything like how deep the scuffs are but if I were to give you advice on permanently removing the scuff marks, I'd say go get the things professionally recovered.
