  • What to use to clean Polished Alum rims?

I've tried a few different wheel cleaners but neither has worked that well on my rims. They are polished alum torq thrust II's, A couple of the rims have some grease spots on them that I would like to get off, as well as brake dust. I tried Meguiars all wheel cleaner and some other brand of all wheel cleaner and neither really did anything.

I used to use Simple Green on the stock rims and it actually worked better than any wheel cleaner I ever bought, but should I use Simple Green on these rims?

I used Armor All wheel cleaner on my stock wheels... it isn't just spay-on, spray-off like they say, but it got everything off with a little scrubbing...

I have those rims on the Vette, and I picked up a Mothers Powerball, just to give it a try. Worked wonders!
