  • Fender Vent Removal

I'm about to order some vynil from Brent Franker... I told him to send me a good picture of whatever he has that's closest to mirror before I order. Anyways, I plan on getting rear fill-ins, Firebird overlays for my door, and overlays for the bird on the license plate cover. When I get them, I also want to paint the fender vents as close to them as I can get them, but I don't see how to remove them. Has anyone else removed theirs?

Also, I want to take the license plate cover out to apply the vynil, and I don't know how to remove that, either...

the grills just pop out, there is two little pieces behind the grills that you just push in and pull the grill out. I got some chrome overlays from brent franker and they are very nice. just like a mirror. check them out on my cardomain.

      Thanks, man. Nice ride.

Are your inserts and overlays also from him? How are his products? I'm probably going to mail a money order Friday, so I'm hoping his stuff is good...

If I've got time this weekend, I'll paint the vents... whatever shiny spraypaint I can find, I guess. I'll upload some pics if I get around to it.
