Blackouts

I was wonderin if these tail light blackouts are perfrectly legal because is says the lights will shine through

Those are the ones I have. I wouldn't say they were legal, but the cops around here haven't pulled me over about them. I take the fronts off at night, because you can't see $hit, but have had the back on for almost a year now. I would think that if the cop was having a bad day or he had some other minor thing to pull you over about, they would tell you to take them off. But I think the black outs come with a piece of paper that says that they are for "off road use only". I say get 'em.

I went with the Carbon Fiber Covers. They let a bit more light through than the Blackouts.

no blackouts are really legal, they block out the reflecive part of the lights (ie: if youre parked at night and someones driving down the road with their lights on they are more likely to smack into your parked car.)

i have the carbon fiber ones. i love the way they look, but they dont cover the whole tail light, and they slide off. its annoying.
