  • Need help fast....

Installed my MAT reverse glow overlays today and hooked it up according to the instructions. Red wire to the red wire on the light switch and black to ground.
Now the problem is that they stay on all the time even when the light switch is turned off. No blown fuses.
    What could have caused this?

splice into the brown wire in the headlight controls, not the red one. thats what i did to mine and it works like normal. keep the black grounded though. sounds like you did everything right just spliced into the wrong wire.

Thanks for the reply. I think my light switch went bad also, so I'll have to find another one. I hooked the overlay up to another switch for now. I'll have to rewire it later. Thanks again for the reply.
