• RIPPING OUT MY INTERIOR...

I just pulled out all of my seats then Im going to pull out the console and carpet and dynamat the car before I put in my new red and gray 30th seats. But I need new carpet cuz the old one is NASTY! Does anyone know a good place to get a new molded carpet? I found some on ebay but wasnt sure if that was the way to go.

Ebay would have been my guess. Any other place will probably cost you more $$.

dunno what your lookin to spend, I went with factory when I replaced mine, ~300$ but it's nice. unfortunatley couldnt get black only graphite/ebony so it doesnt open you up to too many color options. if thats not your route though, jcwhitney has a pleathora of choices with different thickness of carpet w/jute wo/jute tons of colors and it's fairly cheap.

in the books it's called ebony which to me is black in reality it's a graphite color which is ok, little easier to keep clean than jet black but not what I wanted.

ok correction I think I paid ~400$ for factory it's like ~280-340$ for jcwhitney but from what I hear it's pretty nice, for super plush black it's 330$ which aint bad for molded carpet

            Linky

or the cheaper route which to me is bad "if yor gonna do it, do it right"

I got mine from stockinteriors.com, just installed it this week. It's pretty nice quality carpet, it comes molded to the shape but you get excess on the sides that you have to trim off. Overall, though, I'm very happy with mine. Including shipping, I got it for $244.

I've got a lot of work ahead of me still in my interior, but here's a quick shot...

That's actually the exact look I was going for. :D My brother used to have a '77 corvette, red interior. I loved that car with a passion, and I love the old classic car look with bright red and black interiors, so I'm going for that theme on my interior. The flash is misleading, though, as it's not as bright as it looks when there isn't a bright camera flash on the carpet. I'm in the process of sanding the texture out of the dash panels and then repainting them all black (I was going to do a red and black combo with the knee bolster, my custom carPC bezel, and my glovebox, as well as kickpanels and bottom half of the center console being the same red as the exterior, but at this point I think I've decided against it since the red doesn't match the shade of the carpet), but it should be pretty nice come spring when I start working towards my 30-car-show goal this year. 30 car shows?! Good luck. Im on a time frame too. Im trying to redo my interior, do some engine mods, repaint my body kit, shave the door handles, get some rims, all before April or May when all the big car shows start.

Yeah, it's not too hard to be active in the Detroit area. Starting in May, there's a car show or cruise every single weekend, not to mention that there's a weekly cruise-in or car show every day of the week till the weather gets cold again. Last year I went to 20, so 10 more should be a cinch. The difference is that I'll be judged this year. :D

I think www.fbodymotorsports.com has them as well.

They're usually pretty expensive to buy from though.
