Good choice. Chrome is MUCH easier to take care of and has a deeper shine. Anyway, I wash my wheels with the car soap that is used on the rest of the car (with a wash mit) and just rinse the soap off. Then, all I do is blot dry the wheels (they are Z06's) with a towel and buff them out with a Maguiers 100% cotton towel. They come out streak-free with no water spots. I use NO polish.

Just to mention, also... I have low dust brake pads, so my wheels don't really get dirty. If this is your daily driver and you need to protect the finish a little, Mother's products are fine. They have a billet polish that is excellent for polished surfaces and chrome. I wouldn't overdo it though, because sometimes the wheels get streaky from polish and it's hard to rub it off.
