  • Angel Eye replacements for fog and driving lights

I've found some 4" diameter angel eye fog lamps that should fit in 98-02 firebird and formula fog and driving light areas. what do u guys think they would look like on our cars? I think they might look good.

I found some 4" ones in a magazine. they sold clear, white, as well as other colors such as amber, green, aqua, blue, purple, ect. since our foglights and driving lights are both 4" approximatly, i figure that we would be able to mount them in there with only a little work and some wiring. I'll pull up the site that sells them and will post it a little later.

An idea i was looking at, was if people really wanted to keep amber driving lights and white fog lights, then just swaping to the same color angel eyes would look really unique. I was thinking that white driving lights and aqua or blue fog lights w/ my white car would look pretty good, and the blue one's could be switched off if a cop gave me ne trouble.

ok, The ad is on Super Street November 2003. It's got a whole page on them on Page 25. There's rectangular, oval, and 4" round. they have a website, www.tunedbymatrix.com, but it said they were upgrading the site and to come back later to check for the lights. supposedly the part numbers for the "clear" is 06-046 and "super white" is 06-047.

measure the area that the fog lights take up and see. this is for 98-02 firebirds. I dunno how the camaro front fascia is set up, but i don't think that these could fit on camaro in their fog light areas.

I doubt they will! The Camaro's fog lights are really small compared to the Firebirds.

Well if they come in 2" they would fit, probably look real good too.

Been done, but on a TA, and only the fogs, not the DRL's. This is from a LS1.com

Apparently the pics don't show the ring properly, so this guy made quicktime movie HALO FOGS
