• Im I getting into the Ricer Mentality?????

The other week I saw a beautiful Trans Am while driving, it was red, with a Ram Air hood and a Spoiler. Here is how the spoiler looks like.

It also had the whole Wings West Kit.

I am preety much anti-rice, but I am telling you that spoiler on that car looked beautiful.

I have seen these spoilers in pictures, and have been disgusted by it. But on this car is looked amazing.

Now I am even contemplating on getting this.

Should I be smacked on my head, or do some of you think this looks "good"?

I wish I had taken a picture, I was in awe of the car to even think. I passed by it with this face

It was clean, and the ram air hood was higher than it should have been, which was cool.

Plus I was really never a fan of Red Firebird/Trans Ams but after seeing that one, Red is one of my favorite colors.

Oh well, I dont like the wing anymore, it was a two day phase. I go through Ricer phases every now and then.

I don't think a wing automatically = ricer. I am not a big fan of wings but at high speeds in the Trans Am I bet the wing actually does improve the handling.

It is rice if it is just for "bling bling" not if it actually has a purpose.

I think it looks wicked, but I would never waste money on a wing or body kit.

no, its rice if you put an wing, ON TOP OF ANOTHER WING

the stock TA wing would do a good enough job for 99.999999% of people, when it comes to handling

That is the uglies wing I've ever seen, dont turn your beautiful fbody into an import wanna be, leave those wings for those ugly and weak eclipses and hondas.

To anyone who thinks a wing like that helps improve handling, they need to get kicked in the rear. Think about it, NASCAR has one of the fastest cars (over 800hp) and their wings are only 3/4 of an inch or something like that off of the body. I'm pretty sure they run faster than any f-body on this post.

Yeah, but besides the fact that they drive around in a giant circle, the fact that they are going so fast is why they can get away with a smaller wing. The downforce for a given wing area increases with speed. If you want more downforce at a lower speed, you're going to need a bigger wing. Look at the wings on GT cars. The are much larger than on the stock cars (I mean stock cars as in NASCAR).

PS Forgot to mention... I don't like that wing. It should be on a Tiburon or something.
