i have been searching the posts, and currently want to upgrade my 98 chrome 16" trans am wheels to eagle 077's. i am looking into the ever frugal, polished, 17X8, because i think 18's are overwealming without ground effects. can anyone tell me if their finish gets dull, or if they have any complaints with the wheel! basically give ur review, and prices of where u get em!

the 17's look pretty good... great for their price. They are all over ebay. I got all four of my 185's for 450ish. you can find 077s for the same price easily. IMO, 077's were a bit too heavy... just a little heavier than 185's. Thats what influenced my decision. Also, a lot of people allready have 077's so i thought id try something different.
The polished finish isnt hard to keep clean if youre willing to spend about 15 min on the wheels at least once a week. Mothers alunimum polish works great.
Disclaimer: Dont worry, i still do like 077's ;)

I got the 17s for about a year now. They're fairily easy to keep clean. I clean mine everytime I get gas. My only gripe is they look kinda small when your up close on the car, kinda like 16s. From far away they look mean though, kinda like 18s. if I could go back i'd get 18s. But then again i don't think i'd get the 077s at all. They're kinda on the cheap side. And more and more people are starting to get them. I'd go for some Torque Thrust 2s or some Y2k vette wheels or something like that.
