• Lowering springs!!!*UPDATE* PICS

hey guys i got my lowering springs today from Eibach. they lower them 1.5" and i'm looking forward to getting them in. Anyway what i want to know is how many people have them and how does your car look if you do have them? post pics if you can. Does anybody know how hard they are to install in our cars by any chance? a little trick you can do to avoid them popping out, wrap the spring/shock combo in a thick blanket real tight. you will want to use power tools for the job and when you're unbolting the last bolt on top of the shock the blanket will hold the spring. to be safe go outside in the middle of no where just incase.

or you can go to a shop and get it done. when i had my springs installed my friend and i did them at his house. took us like 5 hours. when i got my new shocks installed i went to a shop and it was done in 2 hours. i got the hook up too and he only charged me $100.

Ok guys i got them in. It took me 2 hours and 45 minutes. but we have LOTS of tools at my house. Anyway if you check out my cardomain which is at the bottom in my sig, go to page one. It's the lighter side shot. i have a BEFORE shot above it. Open both pics and put them side by side and tell me what you guys think.

Looks really good, Cole! Now you've got me motivated to get the springs on the car that are sitting in my basement. How does it ride, and how does it handle? Have you gotten the alignment done?

It drove nice and rode BETTER. it handles a bit different but nice. I haven't got the allighment done yet. I will when i actually take it out for the summer which should be soon. Hopefully by April 10th or so. Then i'll get it done. It's only like $50 to get it re-aligned. Not too bad. Thanks for the compliments man. I LOVE the look these springs added to my car. i was worried i wasn't gonna get the car off our hoist because it sat lower. anyway. it is a chore to get the front springs on the shock but it will pay off in the end. :D

Looks really good, got rid of all that gap in the fender wells. Throw some rims on there and your all set.
