car looks great. i bought the same kit (i had another post where u helped me find the kit) and was looking for someone to install them but everyone wants more than what the stripes even costed!!. one guy gave me a tip to use water with a little bit of soap, like spray it on the surface and the back of the decal before applying to help even out the bubbles. did u do this?? if not, what'd u do to help avoid bubbles and how long did it take u to do?? any tips would REALLY REALLY be appreciated as i'm gonna try to do the job myself this weekend.

There's no need to use soap with this. I just used the water. You will want to spray the water on both surfaces (car and back of decal) as your friend said. Not so sure that helps with bubbles, but it does help with getting the position on the stripes centered. As long as they are wet, you can slide them around on the car until they are were you wanted them (make sure you measure and mark where they go before doing this) After they are on, you'll need to use a credit card or library card to push the water out from under the decals. When you are doing this, it will also push the bubbles out. Keep doing this until all the water is out, and you see no bubbles.
It ended up taking me about 2 1/2 hours to mark off the position and get the stripes down. Not to bad.

You have any pics of your car? Do you have the same type of hood as I do?

Here are a couple more I took today that show the whole car They are not very good because of all the shadow though. You can't really see the ground effects and the car look verrrrry black LOL LOL

Those stripes are sweet I have been trying to get my wife to add some stripes to her car but she wont do it. She wants purple and silver flames airbrushed on.

Again.... VERY NICE

i have the ram air hood, but haven't put the stripes on yet. i just got the hood painted today (same silver factory color, the previous person who painted it did a horrible job and just wanted to get it fixed before i put anything on it). anyways, they told me to wait a week before putting the stripes on so i guess a week from now. gonna be countin down the days!

Not quite sure of the question man. Are you asking about painting your interior?
