Anyone have extra pictures of tint on their '98+ Navy Blue Metallic Camaros? Ive been searching around and found some decent ones. Looks sharp BUT im unsure of how dark to go.

30% is legal limit, but from wha I heard, if you have glasses/eye (sun sensitive) problem you can go lower with a doctors note legally.

Im thinkin 20%, or 25 perhaps, unsure. Still looking around. Anyone have nice pics, post them and percentage please

PA tint law:

TITLE 75 Section 4524 (e)(1) of the Pennsylvania Common Statutes states that

(1) No person shall drive any motor vehicle with any sun screening device or other material which does not permit a person to see or view the inside of the vehicle through the windshield, side wing or side window of the vehicle.


So basically, ill sum it up. Tinting is legal in PA, as long as an officer can see into the car. The common ground that this is judged at is 25% to 30%. Any less than that will be hard to argue in court. A 5% tint is just plain silly, as it impares your vision at night, and if you do get pulled over, you can do nothing to fight this. As long as the tint is visually permiable by the human eye, you are good to go.

Yup thank you, I was looking into all of this. My friend got 20% done and a cop pulled him over for "wreckless driving" cause he chirped the tires in his 5-speed 3000gt by accident off a hill ( he was still learning stick sorta ) and the cop put a flashlight up to his window and said ok to his 20%.
BUT yes I kno, some officiers may still hit ya up, some won't, so im thinkin 25%.

Iam getting my windows done next week i was thinking either 5 or 10.

Do people seem to have trouble with the cops at 5 and 10?
