  • Bird 98...How do you remove the fender grills, so I can paint them.

I notice the grills are clipped to the fenders. Do you simply pull it out?

What brand of paint do you recommend?

Because I would like to paint it white or silver or maybe off-white something.

    Thanks

To get mine out, i usually open the door and go from inside, you can just pop em out. As for painting, i havnt found a good paint yet, the paint i used is now flaking off and its just normal spray paint. I think im gonna take it all off and try something else.

Yeah just pull them out by going inside your door.
I used "Interior Paint" uh, i can't think of the name... it's the stuff people use to paint the interior panels of their cars.
i found it in silver and painted it
      i did like 3 layers!
      came out GREAT!
my driver's side lower one has started to peel, but i think it might have been from an accident and the dealership just didn't replace those, i dunno...
but all my other ones are still great and i did it about a year ago, in April

I popped mine out and spray painted them with this "Chrome" spray paint. It looks awesome when it's wet and then it just sorta becomes a shiny silver color when it's dry. It matches the door decals perfectly though, they're almos the exact same color of silver.
