Would it be hard to fix this?

    Or is it beyond repair?

When my custom wheels on my old car got messed up I asked a guy at a wheel and hubcap repair shop about it. He said they would have to strip it then have it dipped. However it would have cost more to do that then to buy a whole new wheel. I guess you would be best to compare the repair price to a new wheel price.

Are they polished aluminum or chromed steel?
Chromed steel may be a bit more expensive to fix since you'll probably have to get them re-dipped if no pilishing compound works.
Aluminum is much easier to clean up. A good compound and some elbow grease is all it takes.

those are chrome, and the chrome is chipping off. the only think you can do is get them dipped again. you might try a little chrome touch up paint in the meantime, but dont expect it to look great.

If the chrome is only coming off on the inner lip part of the wheels, I'd consider stripping it off and painting it another color to match your car. That'd be hot!

              Those C5's are hideous.
That being said, strip em, dip em, or get em powder coated. If you're swapping wheels, stay with you're zr1's.
