        i tried mounting a bass knob in it and it just turned out like crap so i cut the edges i am gonna make it flush in the cubbyhole, and were my lighter is i am gonna put another swith there and am gonna put me a piece of painted aluminun over the both of them as in like an aluminum cover plate, what ya think???

            lol it is a PITA what kind of paint should i use when i get the aluminum put over it, will gloss black be to glossy, what will flat black look like on aluminum, I DONT WANT TO SCREW IT UP!!!

                you'll want a nice satin black finish for most interior pieces. chances are though that it wont match perfectly.

                most any paint should stick to aluminum, but if you really want to do it right id get a can of primer on on it first. make sure you clean (degrease) before you paint.
