I got the B&M Carbon Fiber one, well, it looks like carbon fiber. It's not very tall, fits my hand well, looks sharp in my car with the charcoal interior.

I like my "Shift-ball-'O-Love" but I could go for something a little more ergonomic. Just can't justify the cost tho...

I have a Momo Short Anatomic leather shifter knob (can't remember the part #) that sits on top of my Ripper, & I love it. It did cost like $45, though.

EDIT: Here's a pic of the Momo

UGH!!! They moved this topic as I was replying and now have to re-write what I had written.

Well I have a flameball shift knob. It looks hot but is cool to the touch, unlike the black aluminum knob with a Firebird engraved on it.

The B&M Knobs just dont have the GRIP and FEEL of the hurst or SLP embroidered knob that comes on the M6s...

IMO, you wont find a better fitting or nicer feeling knob than the ones SLP are selling .

;) hehehehhe...yepper..we both do! Only thing is that knob is darn hot in the summer!!! And of course in the winter it's cold!! Gerry....I didnt make the battery cover this past Saturday. I ended up having a very surprise, last minute call to photograph Brooks & Dunn's Tour at a local arena that day!!! I shot for 6 hours with my D1x and had all access!! I dont know if you follow country. I dont listen to it but I am familiar with it. Gary Alan was there along with Trick Pony, Chris Cagle and Dwight Yoakom! I got some nice shots....about 320+!! I sent ya a PM....

I have a black metal ball shifter with an engraved "firebird" logo. I love it- I have a black car, and it matches so nicely. They sell it on pontiacmall.com. The only problem is that its like leather seats- looks great, but its hot in the summer and cold in the winter.

Seriously, it gets really hot in direct sunlight, but it cools down in like a minute from use. (of course, you have to endure the pain for that minute)

                              I lvoe it though.
