So what kind of cheap rims should I get?

    So what kind of cheap rims should I get?

    So guys the day has come... the Zr1s might be gone.

    So what do you guys think I shoudl go with?

    I'll probable be getting stock '00+ z28 rims with nearly new tires. I might run those for awhile.

    I also have a set of firebird 5-stars but the tires are pretty tired.




    And last but not least I also have a set of salad shooters with no centercaps. But I planned to use those to race on [img]graemlins/rofl.gif[/img]


    I might be able to get a set of chrome 5-stars for $250, with half the life of the tires still on them. Then possible sell the 5-stars since they have the worst tires of the group.

    not sure saw a sweet deal going for some Chrome SS 10-spokes with decent tires. Might jump on that. But I am taking any opinions.

    DEFINATELY the firebird 5 spoke.. thats what i got on my car.

    In my opinion i think that the 10 spoke z28 wheels are the ugliest rim on camaros.

      I'd agree but chrome ones are kinda cool... I might have to dig for pics to see if I like them.

      Problem with the 5-spokes is the tires are pretty rough on them. If I got any other set of rims, I think those woudl be the first I woudl ditch. The clearcoat is a little rough on them as well. But hey I got all 4 with tires with some life for $60 can't go wrong. [img]smile.gif[/img] And I sold 2 with bad dents in the lip for $50, so I assume I could get $100 for the set possibly.

            why are you getting rid of the zr1's? if you're going to go w/ 16's i'd get chrome camaro 5 stars. those look the best i think.

              Its a money thing... the guy with the nbm z28 that comes to the UCf meets, is considering $500 + his wheels with new tires for my zr1s...

              I might need a new clutch and possibly hydraulic parts.

                      nevermind probably wont go through guy is broke...


                      I am still on the fence about chrome and my car.

                      If I could have picked up the 5-stars with tread for $250 and sold these, I could sell my 5-stars, and possible the rims i got off him. and made ~$600 total, and gone from zr1s with older tires to chrome 16X8s with ok tires.
