I hear Liquid Glass does one hell of a job as well. Some are saying it is better and cheaper than Zaino.

Hopefully this fixes your problem. Zaino is a good product. However, if the clear has started to peel away from the base coat and the base color under is starting to oxidize. (the fadeded color look) Then the only true way to fix this is to re-paint.

Now if "messed up" means the clear has some slight stratches you can usually wet sand those out because the manufacturers put like 8 layers of clear.

Also if the Zaino does the trick. Then you might want to check into getting the car re-clear coated.

Hope that helps.

;)

well its on the painted door trim on the cavalier, the paint is fine but the clear coat is all shot up and rough looking. Its kind of hard to explain, half is shinny, half is dull lol. I know the local Zaino distributor, Ill give her a call.

I am thinking most of it will need re painting, but the paint is not oxidizing or anything yet, if I can get all the scratches out and have the paint on the body looking nice then I might just have it re painted, if not I will touch it up as good as I can and then say screw it

At the end of Part Three, we changed the valvetrain of the 3.8-liter V6 in the Tom Henry RS. We installed new, Yella Terra "Ultralite" 1.8:1, aluminum roller rocker arms, Katech valve springs and Katech titanium retainers on our 3800 Series II V6.
Ultralites are nearly 25% lighter than the stock 1.6 rockers and 8% lighter than the SLP aluminum...
