I love all but the rims, the rims aren't that cool in my opinion, with different rims that would be bling bling car! awesome very awesome though... i didn't know officers could put extra vinyl on their car though like the frankkentcars.com and frank kent motors... what you guys think?

It's probably more of a show car for the police that is sponsored by those companies or had parts/work from those companies. My county has a corvette they call "the purple ghost" that's kinda like that. It's a C4 though, so it's definatelly not as hot as the TA.

I bet they take it out for DARE and **** like that. Up here they have a couple of mustangs (SN95s and Fox Bodies, as well as 1 brand new 4.6), a 1992 Camaro RS with a 350, and a ****load of SUVs.
Mustangs.. Come to the darkside...

The dark side is the path to the shadow of greed. =D
Seriously... Why? I don't understand why there is any need to spend Police money on stuff like that. Even if it was dontaed, why not put that donated work towards something more useful.
Now, I understand that there are some departments that have cars such as those as under cover cars, ect. Or maybe from repo's. But for the most part... why?

Most likely those cars were confiscated in a drug related seizure, hence the reason they are used as DARE cars. I work for a department and we seized a 2002 red trans am and that baby was hott..... but one problem, he had 12 more mpayments ot make on it so we had to turn it over to the bank, man i wanted that car soo bad but the leutenant had his eyes on it first lol
Driving down to Tampa, FL from DC in June. Mostly in South Carolina and in Georgia, I saw plenty of Camaro cops in undercover and full out cop cars...LS1 of course. They are mainly used for those high speed chases to catch the "faster" cars on the road.
Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
