I was thinking of getting the TA front bumper for my firebird. Is it hard to install? And about how much does it cost to paint it? And when i get the fog lights, are they easy to install? Sorry about all the questions, but thanks in advance.

Actually, I've seen that done to quite a number of Firebirds, even some here locally. Yes, the noses are different, the TA's have a smoother and rounder front end with no nostrils and built-in fog lights, like you said. It's not really an original idea, meaning it's been done quite a few times now, and I could only see someone doing it out of the desire for the different appearence, and not to actually make people they have a Trans Am and everything... but the spoiler wouldn't match anyway. It was tempting for me to get the TA spoiler and hatch, but it would be too much trouble after installation and repainting and whatnot. Anyway, I guess it wouldn't be too hard, judging by how many times I've seen it done. Well, I'm getting my friend's 00 Camaro rims by the end of the week for the same price on the website. Thanks anyways though. Thank you for complimenting my car, and I'll be sure to have more pictures up after I get the rims. You need to get some pictures of your car man.

I have done it (3.4 nose to TA) got the bumper off ebay and painted it for like $150... installed myself... pretty straight forward.
you will need to find fog lights and firebird has holes for the foglights already, so just bolt them on. I also got the rear bumper and skirt... didn't get the TA hatch, got a V6 emblem on the rear bumper so people won't think it is a 8. let me know if you have any question.TECHNOBETSYComment
