  • Any online places that sell bulbs?

The PepBoys by me only had a pair of the blue 194s. Their from american auto accesories. Website is www.americanautoacc.com . I got these bulbs like a month ago and they still haven't gotten another set so I doubt it will happen in my lifetime. I put those 2 bulbs in the dash and I like how they look. I need about 6 more. Autozone has jack. Another Pepboys is over an hour away and they might not even have any. I can't believe the whole Chicago metropolitan has no blue bulbs. Any online places? I might get desperate and risk being seen at those rice stores.

Summit has those Matrix ones for $5 a pair and Jegs has APC for $5 a pair. Are they both good?

Dom, go down Oakton...near my neck o' da woods (Park Ridge) and go to the PepBoys/Autozone, they're right next to each other. Always have lightbulbs in stock..

I took a trip to Arligton Heights and they just happend to have 4 packs of those bulbs. I think that Pepboys by my house is always low on everything. In the future I'll check out Park Ridge if I need something.

I have to say my new gauges look very nice. It's not deep blue but more of a super white look. I like it alot. Just somethine to freshen up the car I guess.

How do I replace the map lights? I don't see any bolts. And my lights by the door lock went out on the drivers side. Anyone know the size of those?

So are you replacing the bulbs in your Camaro (I take it you have that since the firebird dashes are tinted red...)? Are all the dash lights 194s? So... Replacing them with any color makes the gauge at night that color?

              Got any photos? :D

Here is the entire post on how to do it:

Have fun and yes, 194's work the best. And a tip for when you get the cluster out, the seven light sockets that have light shinning through the back are the ones you want to change, the other lights go to your engine lights and turn signals etc.

97+ camaro dashes are different. For 96 ones it's 7 bulbs for gauges and 14 or so for the warning lights. Warning lights have tinted glass so changing the bulb won't do anything. I'll take some pics sometime soon.

Are the blue lights Hybrids? If so, be careful because they burn a lot hotter than regular ones. I have some hybrids behind my Autometer gauges and they have discolored the casing a little. Just a little forwarning...be careful and double check a few weeks after you install them.
