  • Pewter Camaro... Yellow stripes maybe?

I have been doing all of my accents on my car ( front inserts, engine bay, suspension ) in Yellow and I want to do some stripes. I dont know how yellow stripes would look and I dont want to stray from my current color scheme. I guess I could do black and it would look alright. What do you guys think?

    Check the sig for pics.

No yellow wouldnt look good. If ya wanna know why from an artist/photographer's view and from someone who owns a pewter bird here's why.....

Pewter has a yellow base to it so anything that has alot of yellow in it will not compliment pewter. A complimentary color would be anything that's opposite to it on the color wheel. Like Purple or blueish purple, red with more blue in it than yellow, blue also would look good! :D If you can get your hands on a pantone chart you'll see what I mean. A shade-shifting stripe would look good...thats what I almost went with and wish I would've :( . I might just redo my stripes if I'm not able to get my flames painted on.

but instead of all black do a yellow accent around the big part of the stripe that might look good, Pewter2kformula can you put that together to see how it would look?

Redbird....check the link I gave in the above post. I added two pics there of a Red bird. Only thing is it's so hard to know how to end the stripes on the hood. I tried it down further but that didnt look right either :( Any ideas on how you'd like to end the stripes??
