• Lookie what I did to my Formula this weekend ;o)

I have had this planned for a couple months now. I designed this myself from a variation of the FirebirdGT. Steve and I spent most of Saturday installing them...took like 6 hours or so with breaks in between  No matter how hard we used the darn squeege we still got bubbles :( so I might have to redo some of it.

I also redid my tail filler. I had pewter metallic decals covering the factory red bird and "firebird" lettering. I saw a post on LS1.com from someone that wet sanded down the red lettering/bird then used 3M rubbing compound so that's what I did. I went with "Formula" instead of the "Firebird" :D

There's also some more pics here Formula Pics

Looks good. You designed it yourself? Did you cut the vinyl yourself or have somewhere cut out your design? Looks real good

Thanks for all the compliments :D . I did design the stripes myself with a variation on the FirbirdGT ones. I worked it up in Photoshop and we even did a mock-up with posterboard we taped on the car . After we taped the paper stripes on we took pics and I tried different colors/sizes/angles in Photoshop. I had a company in New Jersey custom make the kit for me.

I was pretty tired after installing these on Saturday. The hood was the hardest part....reaching across and all. I'm going to try today and get a pic of the car from above so you can see the stripes on the t-top and hatch
