I used spray everyting...primer, paint, clearcoat.. all in a can.
Make sure if you sand off all the paint to at least put one coat of primer on. If you're just repainting, you don't have to sand off ALL the paint, just get a really smooth surface, and you can even use steel wool. Then, just put on a few coats of paint until it is completely covered, then like 2-3 layers of clearcoat. It will shine ;)

You should get some chrome lug nuts to replace those black lug nut covers. They make a world of a difference.
