I really need to spice up the appearance of my pewter (or is it silver?) Bird. I was wondering if I should take a paint pen and paint the emblems (bird on front liscense plate cover, side "Firebird" emblems, and back "PONTIAC" emblem). What does everybody here think? And what else can I do to put some pep into the looks of my car?

i'd recommend getting decals instead of painting, that way you can change it if you don't like it down the line. auto graphics has some really nice onesmcG
aim=endlive
97 firebird ~ wrecked

I painted the door badges on mine
And I also painted the rear inserts which are from RKSport and just come in black, white and carbonfiber
I painted the front bird on my boyfriends car along with his door badges. However I the bird was the most difficult since I did it with an airbrush and had to tape everything off :( It turned out nice though.
I would try the decals on the front to see if you like the colors like mcG said. I had carbon fiber dk charcoal on the front bird and on the doorbadges and carbon fiber on the rear Here's pics of it before I had the flames

VERY nice styling on that Formula; good job. One more question: are the decals relatively easy to put on, or would it be easier to tape off and airbrush?-----------------------------------
See my cardomain site:
http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2047216
Watch my work in progress
