Is there a way? I used 3M's Rubbing Compound, but it looks like it added more fine line scratches.

How to fix fine line scratches?

Scratches suck! Especially on newer cars (like ours) that have clearcoat on them.
I think you will need to buff it out the best you can, and try to overlay the scratch with a clearcoat. I fixed a few hairline scratches on my rear quarter panel, but I used a very fine pinpoint-paintbrush dipped in clearcoat, and filled in the scratches. Worked pretty good for a bodywork amateur (me) ;)
