Need new rims & sharper image

I have a set of 17" Fitipaldi 5 star rims on my car right now and they're looking kind of aged . They're aluminum. I want a new set of rims but i'm on a really tight budget. I always say to myself that since i have 17 in. rims right now that I want to step up to 18in. but I don't feel like buying a whole new set of tires to put the 18in. rims in. What are the best deals around on tires and wheels. I seen that some of you got the cobra rims and them eagle rims. How much did you spend all together? I also want my car to look a little sharper it's looking dull. Anyone have any ideas? I figured some new rims a tint job and those camaro letter inserts in the back would make it look nicer. My 18" Eagle 077's with Falked Z rated tires was $1500 including mounting/balancing. As for the tint/inserts thing, i say go for it. I already have the inserts (love 'em) and am going to start looking into tint soon.
