Just shaved my 93-97 firebird badges in favor of some 98+ ones

Yeah, seriousely. Funny how they both say Firebird. It isn't faking/saying "Formula" or "Trans Am". Personally, I think it's a very tasteful appearance change and I'll be doing it to my car as well. Ever hear of not having enough money to buy a 98+ Firebird?

used a hair dryer to melt the glue and then pryed them off with a pocket knife and some floss. it took about 2 hours :rolleyes: but it was well worth it [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Looks good, I think i'll do that to my car but I'm going to get yellow if I can, yellow on red looks great! Might trick some people into thinking its a Firehawk or something from a glance at the yellow badage on the side :D

That looks sweet. I've got the same color bird w/those crappy emblems. I'm definitly going to switch to the newer style ones. I looked them up on gmpartsdirect and they're only $10 each.

they came with 3M double sided tape already on them. it was VERY easy. :D

That's EXACTLY what I was going to do to my car!!! I hate those old style letters, and I am going to get black for my car. It looks great on yours. I've always thought that paying attention to little details always makes a car look good.

i don't know it, and it's kinda hard to get off, so i just ordered black inlays from these guys. it's only $7 so it's cheaper too.
