White face gauge problems

I was searching through ebay and saw these guages:

I talked to a friend of mine who is an installer at an auto electronics shop and he told me that they have a ton of problems with them and highly reccommended that I dont buy them. I ran search through here and nobody has posted anything saying they had problems with theirs. Have any of you had problems with yours?

i have some glo gauges, not for a camaro, but for another car, which is the same thing.

I cannot see any problems it could possible have, because all you do is hook up a positive and negative.. which the only problem you can have is bad wiring, and have a short.

What did you type to find those? I couldn't get any guages up.

Will Camaro overlays work on my Firebird?

I tried a search for you and I couldnt find anything for the v6, only the TA. No, i dont believe the camaro gauges will work b/c they have a different overlay pattern than a firebird. But, I could be wrong. I tried running search all over for them, but I couldnt find any specifically for the firebird.

My friend said the problems they were having were blowing fuses or some weird thing like that. I was confused. But if no one else is having trouble with theirs than I will not be afraid to buy them.

I have guages similar to those. I've never had a problem. They've been on the car for over a year now.

Or eBay, thats where I got mine, but they arent flamed, they are just white faced. They are easy to intstall, look awesome, have no problems and were only $40 shipped. You should be able to find flamed ones too I imagine.

I have similar ones also (check my CARDOMAIN) and it was really easy to install, and I love them, and havent had a problem with them at ALL!!
