One other thing: you should get inserts for your letters to match the orange stripes.

How much did that custom job set you back?

BTW: someone suggested white ZR1s, I wouldn't go there. Buy some wheels that offset your paint. Go with black or silver if you get rims.
For sure not black. Silver would look fine. My friends '98 thats white with Hugger orange stripes looks great with the white 30th. ann. rims.

Thanks a lot guys... I guess I have to answer a few questions, so ill get them over with.

Shirl- yes, the SS hood is still in the back of my mind, but I am also interested into the ram air (looks like WS6 but for camaro) I seem to like them more... I tend to be different with what everyone else does..
You also mentioned about the pearl... It is completely custom... No pink in it, there are some pearls out there (GM) that are a cream color, didnt dig it too much. Ill give you this much, the color was based on a pearl that i saw on a suzuki grand vitara (sp?) it was an OEM paint but we added other things to it, i have the formula just incase anything happens to where i need to repaint it.

Camarorulz- The reason i had painted it white was because that was the original color, and so we wouldnt have to paint the jambs and up under the hood... As for the inserts, they are already on it, i havent updated the pics yet... That was the first thing i noticed when we finished it...
As for the price, you might be surprised... for one, i didnt have to pay for labor, or lights and other things like that, all i had to pay for was paint and supplies, which i got for christmas... My dad is a professional painter, so he hooked me up, usually, for someone walking into the shop wanting this idectical job would cost around 3,000-3,500

I would have picked one or the other, but not both stripes & hockey stripes.

Car looks good, i just dont like how the stipes on the side make such a harsh turn, it would look 100x better if it curved with the wheel well..
I think the paint job, and the stripes look nice though...

Well... I see that many people are saying that there is too much going on... I thought the same when we projected them to pictures on my computer, but if you were to see it in person, it really isnt that noticable... you usually see one or the other... about not continuing the the stripes on the hood... I really do not care for how that looks, I dont think it looks good on any cars really, not to offend you but not my thing....
I havent seen much of anything like mine, i have seen a 35th anniv. with it curved !!!AFTER I PAINTED IT ALREADY, AHHHH!!! but yea, people think the line is too sharp, if that were the fact, I wouldnt have been imitating the actual hockey stick... but yea, I love to hear what you guys say! Keep on keepin on!

I realy like it. I have a black 94 Camaro & have been wanting to do that with red. It takes balls to stand out. Right on for you. Love the side stripes.

I like it, alot. Enough that I have started to consider a slanted L-stripe for the side of my car. Like some people said, it's a lot of color... but IMO the stripes work well together, adding some variety to the otherwise flatish body.
