windex uses amonia(spelled wrong) which is used to take tint off, eventually it will either start to peal, or start fading really badly, which is whhat happened to my old truck, i use armor all window cleaner, safe for tint windows, and it rarely streaks, or spots uphttp://www.cardomain.com/id/1loudv6

Definetly DO NOT use windex on tint!! You will destroy your tint very quickly. I usually just use some soapy water and a rag to clean mine but I'm gonna check out that armor all window cleaner.2001 Firehawk #155 of 504 -M6
437 RWHP / 404 RWTQ -Dynojet (heads/cam)
12.34 @114 mph 1.7 60\' (bolt-ons only)
12.47 @116 mph 2.0 60\' (street tires, heads/cam)

it's spelled 'ammonia.' It's NH3. The molecule is highly polar and easily forms hydrogen bonds, so it's very soluable in water.
