ok, so lambo doors dont work on camaros unless there is body work involved....right?
But what about putting the hinge on the other side of the door as like a suicide door, and having the front of the door open upwards ? I think that would be pretty nifty if someone did that.

Just off the top of my head. You would need to reroute all the electronic that are in the door so they come through on the other side. Body work to clean up the old holes, body work to make the new wholes plus possible re-enforcment for that section of the body to be able to support the weight of the door without warping a panel, possible body work so the door would clear the body when it goes verticle, and think about the angle the door would have to hit so you could get in the car past the dash.
Some of that may not be actual issues, but you should think about them when you are planning.
same problem as the front. The fenders bulge out... Plus wiring, plus the handle/lock assembly would be incredibly hard to use. Imagine opening our heavy doors upwards, its the same concept as to why door handles on normals doors (like the front door of a house) the handle is on the opposite side of the hinges.

The front of the doors are rounded, so it would have to come out first. It could be done, but it would require far more work.
The hinging is VERY complicated, but I think Koenigsegg CC style doors would be the best answer for us. It would probably require a mechanical engineering degree and a broad imagination to even start on, though.
Hey everyone! I've been trying to remove my transmission for two days now! I need to replace the clutch. Only thing I've got left holding the transmission...
Hello, so I changed the front bearings on the bird and the ABS inoperative light came on. I made a mistake of not removing negative battery cable. Now...
I usually have to double, triple my headlight switch for them to come up on my 97 Firebird. I cleaned all connections. Could it be the headlight switch...
